First evidence, "All thy children shall be taught of the Lord." (John 6:45) They are taught their sin, and generally learn that by the law. "Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest and teachest him out of thy law." "When the commandment came sin revived, and I died." (Rom. 7:9) The law is our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, (Gal. 3:24) and a schoolmaster has to instruct children.
